Audio/Visual Ministry
Providing technical and administrative skills to assist the church’s worship and teaching ministries through the use of graphic development, multimedia presentations, live streaming of services, recording, distribution, and photography.
Benevolence Ministry
The purpose of our Benevolence Ministry is to demonstrate the love of Christ in action, graciously caring for those in need by providing food for the hungry, clothes to those without, and other financial needs to those facing hardship. Children’s Ministry
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in the spiritual training and development of their children by: 1) presenting the Gospel in a clear, age-appropriate manner, 2) encouraging a life-long commitment to Jesus Christ, 3) modeling Christ-like behavior, and 4) teaching directly from God’s Holy Word.
- Sunday Children’s Church: ages 4 years old – 6th Grade — meets Sunday mornings during our 10:30 service
- AWANA Club: 2 years old – 8th Grade — meets Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:30, runs from September to May
- Community Summer Vacation Bible School: 4 years old – 6th Grade — meets during summer months (see church calendar for more details)
Deacon Ministry
Our Deacons are biblically qualified servants who aim to glorify and honor our Lord Jesus Christ by serving His church body, the Pastor, the Elders, the church staff, and our community. Our deacons also manage our safety team. For more information, see Our Beliefs.
Elder Ministry
Our Elders are biblically qualified leaders based upon I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 who provide spiritual oversight for the church’s ministry. For more information, see Our Beliefs.
Greeting Ministry
Our Greeters exhibit the joy of the Lord in welcoming individuals and families to our services and providing valuable information about the church and its ministries.
Home Group Ministry
Our Home Group Ministries are designed and exist for the purpose of developing Christ-centered personal relationships, while at the same time creating opportunities for worship, genuine fellowship, prayer, biblical instruction and spiritual encouragement.

MARRIAGE Ministry
Our Marriage Ministry… through Marriage Builders class and bi-monthly Marriage Enrichment Home Fellowships.
Mens’ Ministry
Our Mens Ministry encourages the men of West Oaks Fellowship to sharpen one another through activities, such as fellowship, spiritual training, prayer, and recreation.
MissionS Ministry
Our Missions Ministry aims to communicate a quarterly report on the financial support, prayer, and encouragement provided to faithful missionaries who are teaching and training indigenous believers worldwide.
Nursery Ministry
Our Nursery provides a safe and loving environment for infants and toddlers during all worship services. This allows caregivers the opportunity to participate in ministry and worship. Please contact Alica Greer at 713-503-6437 for more information.
Prayer Ministry
Our Prayer Ministry gathers weekly to make intercession before the Lord for the expressed needs of the church body and our weekly services, ministry, community and nation.
Prison Outreach Ministry
The purpose of our Prison Ministry is to make a positive spiritual impact on inmates by sharing the Gospel of Christ and providing discipleship ministries so that they may become valuable, productive members of society and Christ’s Church. Seniors’ Ministry
Our Seniors’ Ministry seeks to create spiritual growth and develop close friendships through teaching of the Word and fellowship opportunities for adults age sixty and over.

Our Worship Ministry desires to lead and usher people into the presence of God, prepare hearts to receive the Word of the Lord, and invite God’s power and presence to move among those worshiping Him through:

Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry provides weekly opportunities for Jr & Sr High young adults to discover Christ love for them and their identity in Him and experience the reality of their uniqueness through Bible studies, fellowship, events, service and activities.
